Born in 1980, Jacky Gotin entered the world of photography immortalizing pieces of lives that staged friends and members of his family.
This pastime progressively turned into a passion and became a reality during a journey in Paris, in the course of which he met photographers
that were fascinated, just like he was, by the Parisian soul scene and its representatives of the moment.

THE ORGANIC SOUL CREW was created quite naturally, in the bend of a conversation. Composed of Hemrmann "Hermosdef" Deza ,Emmanuel "Dorlis" Tary
and Jacky who was henceforth known as "kija". They wanted to give a new dimension to their art through this crew.

Influenced by his afro-caribbean origins, his photographies are doors opened on the world and the beauties that emanate from it under its
most varied forms.
From the subway to the Guadeloupe fields of sugarcane, from Central Harlem avenues to Fort de France alleys, his photos are testimonies
of a real and conscious diversity. In this continuity he started a series of portraits entitled "There a light that shines special
for you and me" (dixit a famous song from Common)

He continued to enrich this series in the course of his encounters...
